Owners / Management

GLENN BURNS and STEPHEN NUNES recently purchased Tiverton Equestrian Center. Both are lifelong horsemen with years of experience in the service industry. As natives to the southcoast area of Massachusetts and Rhode Island, Glenn and Stephen believe strongly in providing outstanding service to their clients and the absolute best care available for their horses.

Their warmth, enthusiasm, and dedication to horsemanship is the essence of T.E.C.

Training / Instruction

Tiverton Equestrian Center is pleased to welcome NORA HARRIS as our Head Trainer and Instructor. Nora's professional background, formal equine education, and contemporary approach to teaching and riding are refreshing as well as effective.

Nora graduated Summa Cum Laude from Virginia Intermont College, with a degree in Equine Studies and a focus on Equestrian Sports Psychology. She puts her formal education to good use helping riders become effective in the saddle and competitive in the arena.

Nora is also LEVEL II certified with the American Riding Instructors Association (ARIA) in Hunt Seat and Dressage.

When you combine such dedication to equine studies with hands-on experience working for top-notch professionals, like Olympian Leslie Burr Howard and champion Warmblood breeders Suzanne and Joe Hutton of Dream Hill Farm, you get a unique trainer who is truly vested in her students and her career. Whether you ride for fun or competitively, Hunt Seat or Dressage, you will very much appreciate riding with Nora!
